Pros and cons investing in a condo
My duplex in Ohio is giving me trouble and I am looking to invest in either South or North Carolina. My budget is 165k max. I have an agent in South Carolina showing me condos in the myrtle beach area, and I want to know if anyone has experience investing in condos. What are the pros and cons? I know you loose out on the tax benefits and condos don’t appreciate as much as homes, but i want to know if there’s anything else to be concerned about.

Condo investments would only be ideal for dense countries like Hong Kong/Singapore where it is impossible to own a land to develop. As they can only value appreciation over cashflow. However, the US still has several opportunities to acquire raw land or a house to invest in. If you were to invest in condo, there most likely have monthly HOA where they keep increasing every year, in which minimizes your cashflow opportunities. @Carlos Valencia @Albert Bui
