Yes I have kids a wife and a job that I work roughly 3000 hours a year at and I just make time when I can. because I don’t want to work forever.  

I'm actually about to close on a property in Saratoga county, not so much a traditional rental as it's going to be our "forever" home but it has a rental unit attached. 

Once in a while a tenant will remain in a property forever, but rather than a positive it turns out to be a negative for the landlord because he allows the tenant to pay below market rent, usually considerably below market, so income is not maximized.  

As far as disruption goes the I-buyers have been proven to be a failure, but the current buyer and seller agency for 1 transaction won't last forever.

Didn't Kiyosaki's rich dad say something like "broke is temporary, poor is forever".

Not saying that you, @Hampton Logan are one of them, I am just forever blown away. 

In my town anything over 500 sq ft you have to add a big certified tree that's gonna dump debris all over your roof and neighbors forever. 

Every now and then a trust fund recipient that gets good monthly income, but has no money for down payment and sometimes bad credit....so they end up renting forever.   

You have to have a plan to have the loans paid off, instead of minimum forever payments.

That's what I survived on until I realized I had to do something to make money because those workman comp payments weren't going to come forever.
