I'm looking to network with some section 8 landlords that have experience because I have several questions regarding that and whether it is worth looking into.

There are lots of investors from the Bay Area that invest out of state so you can probably get a lot of insight from networking with them!

I may dabble a bit in trying to do a wholesale during this time and I will definitely continue reading and listening to podcasts and hopefully networking!

Has anyone done a DIY roof?

I've been an investor now for 3 years but just decided to get more involved with the bigger pockets network!

The Market is so competitive that I am becoming convinced that to get deals you have to network.

I have been networking as much as I can (as I live by the philosophy, "It's not about the grades you make, it's about the hands you shake!)

If you haven't already already joined one, you will get a good overview of the investing scene in your area (or the area you want to flip in) by networking with other investors, wholesalers, and agents in person.
