Purchasing RE inside an IRA can get very complex and the government is not forgiving when you need to make nondeductible contributions.The self directed IRA may be a good thing for you, but I would continue to fund it and grow the money before doing to much actual RE purchases.

I have noticed that people on both extremes of the political spectrum often suspect the government of being against their end of the spectrum, which probably means the government is not really favoring either side.On a more important note, I have no idea why we even have hate crimes.
