That policy by the Banks to not lend LESS than $50k could be the single GREATEST reason why the mid-west (for example) can't seem to get out of their "$30k Pigs" status!

I work in downtown Chicago and live in the near west suburbs.

It's nice to see some other people in West Michigan that are familiar with the areas BETWEEN Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo.

Gets better the further west you go.

In fact i think you can do even better in the south and west wards but thats too many headaches even for me.

My plan, as soon as my villa sells in NC I will be looking at possibly the West Palm Beach, Fl area.

Do you want properties that are in the less-than-great neighborhoods but will have a lot of good cashflow potential like west of the highway or would you rather stick to something that will get less money but also have a lot fewer headaches?

I have had a property manager do the management while I lived overseas, however now that I am living on the west coast I do all the management myself. 

Have you looked west into the Cumberland area?
