I'm buying a few REITs targeting different types of real estate, retail (Realty Income: O) and apartment communities (Avalon Bay: AVB) (my reasoning being that a lot of people are renting, especially California where home prices are very high) and maybe Public Storage. 

But again, its is this the "normal/realty" story, hell no.

We have finalized Chicago,IL and Bridgeport,CT as the final two candidates.I have already got great amount of information about Elite Invest and GC realty here on BP but it seems there is not much discussion about Bridgeport turnkey provider.We are 45 minutes away form Bridgeport, CT which provides us better sense of comfort to observe our first turnkey investment from not too far and if required, we can step in to self manage.I have stumbled upon a company called investinbridgeport LLC who provides turnkey solutions.
