If the solar system is leased or it is a PPA then the solar system will not be appraised.In mitigation of that there is the "subjective" which would relate to local views on the aesthetics of solar panels as well as how much of a reduction in ownership costs has been created as a result of the solar system.I am sure you are correct in the latter subjective cost of ownership being increasingly a factor as utility costs rise inexorably.

There's one hot line and one cold line behind the wall and that's it.This is what a Delta MultiChoice, perhaps the most common shower behind-the-wall rough-in valve used today, looks like in a copper shower setup. with lines running down from above and air chambers to mitigate water hammer.

Me , I would have the tank  removed ASAP I would use this to hammer on price. oil tanks can be mitigated  and if its a foreclosure and OREO property many times they will get aggressive to move this type of inventory.

All issues concerning risk and debt can be mitigated by making smart investments, for some that might be limited partnerships for others it might be large non recourse deals and others it might be single families in a market they know well but in all cases if one can get 7%+ returns and can borrow at 5.5% it makes no sense to pay down debt or hold free leverageable assets.
