In Lake Geneva you can only airbnb it for 6 months of the year and the place ends up sitting vacant the other 6 unless you find a month to month tenant.

They’re selling the house fully furnished, including a little fishing boat - hence the $1500 over appraisal  🙄As you can see from pics, the house is a small lake house, in good condition, but everything is original to the 1970s.

One day I'd be looking at out-of-state lake houses for STR, the next day I would be looking in my hometown a state away, then I'd be dreaming about glamping sites in our backyard, and the next day I was looking at small multifamilies in my new area.

The better parts of Desert Hot Springs are around the Mission Lakes Country Club and the neighborhoods that hug the foothills.

HallFrom what I've seen cities in Utah are more lenient with zoning due to the housing shortage (especially in Salt Lake County).
