There is one thing you should fear- elected officials that despise capitalism, despise landlords and pass laws to hurt people that are landlords.

No fear of any major disasters so I wonder how could it be so high

Once you do the first step, it will get easier, but you need to overcome that fear of taking the first step by arming yourself with knowledge. 

How do you overcome such fear and move past it?!

Up to this point, the fear of failure emerges in my head.

Our fear is that if we anger the tenants, then can cause further damage to the property and we have nothing to hold against them other than to pursue legal action.

I’m an owner of a pitbull mix with mastiff, two of the most feared breeds mixed together.

I'll leave another letter as stated above, but I fear it will either not be read or ignored again. 

However, the bigger issue - in my opinion - is that I actually think it might encourage someone to NOT report legitimate maintenance issues with the home for fear that they might lose points and not get their reward/prize at the end of the year. 

I feel it is very possible and getting over fear is the first step.
