I want to put down $20,000 from my savings account to bring the loan payment down.I figured that I don't want that 2 A.M. call telling me that there is a leak or some other occurrence. 

The previous tenants disconnected the water softner and water leaked pretty badly for awhile.

It was a pretty bad experience right out of the gate; apartment was FILTHY (cobwebs in all the corners), kitchen and bathroom faucet leaked, already had ants and spiders, tub was dirty, floor was dirty, door casing is basically falling off of the door, basically everything I didn't want.  

Interior concrete or CBS wall.  Had inspection but need to dive deeper.  Need a professional with Thermal technology detection equipment or whatever needs to be done asap.  Could be a deal breaker and I have 5 days!  ...

It does not have wires (owner started rewiring but never finished), no electrical panels, plumbing damages, oil tank leak (potential soil contamination), and leak in gas pipe, AC has problem as well.

Just check for leaks in your water line connection.

Seller reports no current leaks and has repair documentation for a couple spots in between 2006-20014.

He got $4000 for bringing us a townhouse deal, it needed small roof repair, cosmetics where leak was, and some updating.
