The bathroom looks fine you could remodel it for about $3k.

I should add that we did a complete rehab as well (new kitchen/granite, bathrooms, windows, rebuilt walls and reconfigured layout on 2nd floor w/ all permits pulled).

you would be far better off trying to get your daughters friends in the house as opposed to strangers. around the universities here, the student housing (non-dorm) have private bathrooms for each room so sharing a bathroom with strangers may be a tough sell

Maybe Eric Michaels would "cry like a little girl to the govt for help," but I would rather clean out Rest Stop bathrooms, drain out houses and shovel horse manure before I would ask the government for help.

I have not paid the owner anything.The house is on 1.1 acres in a prime location and is probably worth 200K in this market and still needs one bathroom put back after she had torn everything but the plumbing out.

I've been in the apartment and it is full of the usual stuff you see on the reality shows with a small path to get to the bedroom and bathroom.

So, usually I just have to vacuum the carpet in their room and clean their bathroom.

How about a bath tub, toilet, shower, vanity, mirror, sink and faucets - that's the bathroom.
