You'll need to shop and compare either by drive by or craigslist ad rental positing to find out what competition is actually getting for rentals.Good luck it's a lot of work.

We have talked to one lender in CA that will work with us but need direction on how best to shop and compare rates for a small loan before we lock.  

My servicing company just closed shop, and was trying to get a feel for what people are now using, good or bad.  

When restaurants, bars and coffee shops start moving in, it is a good indicator that a neighborhood's identity is changing.

He mentioned perhaps pouring water into the drain pipe by the evaporator and using the shop vac as a blower to see where the water ends up. 

Does it have any amenities like a laundry room and a nearby bus stop, school in the neighberhood, closeness to shopping center, etc..

Shopping for REI properties is not like going to the bigbox stores and picking items off the shelf. 

I'm also invested in many rentals and I currently am working in the Grimsby area with another investor it's only about a 20 minute drive from my place and I learn the area quite well be happy to sit down for coffee with you anytime to talk shop.

If that is confusing, would a 2,500 square foot lot zoned B3-2 (community shopping district) be restricted to one ground floor commercial space and one upper floor residential unit, or could a developer build two residential units?
