If they download copyrighted material, illegal pornography, or engage in other shady online behavior, you can be held liable, I believe.You can mitigate this risk by installing monitoring software. 

I did carrier test few weeks ago and it showed me software developer and system or financial analytic as top. 

You can also do a design of your project using a design software.

I have no idea which niche to pick from the Ultimate Guide and I come from the Software Development field, so I hope that I don't fall into analysis paralysis, but I am here to learn, connect and get started doing something that I am excited about.  

In addition to real estate investing, I have been a partner for the last 14 years in a software company (modern tribe: http://tri.be) which builds large scale websites and apps for fortune 500 companies / government institutions.

In the IT world CIOs would look at TCO (total cost of ownership) when deciding on purchasing new hardware/software. 

I know buidium and probably other management softwares will post vacancies on a lot of sites.
