As investors we like to focus on the cash flow but sometimes we have to take a step back and really assess the uniqueness of a situation. 

I then had to point out there was no way to silence a false alarm or change the batteries without risking breaking my neck.Around late March my art exhibit (the non-real estate project) wrapped up and I could focus my attention back to the house.

I know Southern Maryland so I focus on this area, I have bought and sold properties elsewhere in the state but SoMD is home so this is where is work most often.

I know time is very valuable and don't want to waste my time focusing on the wrong things now and being in a tough spot later on in my life. book recommendations, local in person meet ups in the Florida area is great anywhere from Orlando down to Miami I am willing to travel to gain more knowledge.

I can't afford a big list so I focus on the surrounding zip codes that are listed as pre-forclosure here in the Houston area.

This post is less about what will work for me, although I am focusing in on flipping, and more just about hearing what others in the area are up to and working on.
