@Nathan Alton @Lucy BalyanColumbia Missouri is a college town (Mizzou) with close proximity to Jefferson City, which is the Capital of Missouri with a whole lot of politicians and perhaps more importantly men and women who lobby them for a living.

I would suggest at least speaking with someone who is familiar with landlord laws because I know they change from state to state and in PA even town to town.

In case you are still looking, I have heard Jay Korzinski is one of the best landlord attorneys in town.

I live in a town that doesn't have property management competition.

Offended shouldn't be part of the equation especially for a buyer.I would say that some people have  looked at enough houses to know and make a choice so the wife not seeing would not worry me as much, she could be out of town.
