Starting my own Property management biz
I live in a town that doesn't have property management competition. I want to start a PM company, but I'm not licensed. Can I start the company and hire an agent to sign the leases and list the properties?
I have my own maintenance staff already so that's in place. I also have about 60 units who want me to manage their places.
Most broker/ agents take the first months rent as payment. Do other property management companies pass that expense on to the property owner?
Has anyone seen a broker give a discounted flat rate since I would have a large quantity of rental listings?
Thanks!
Aaron
