I see many investors saying they are buying properties with no cash-flow or even a negative cash-flow because they predict the market will continue to grow and they'll eventually gain a cash-flow and build equity.

I think one benefit is learning and feeling like I am contributing to others here, and the second is gaining visibility.

I'm not going to spend all my time saving and paying down my personal residence, because the sooner I create another asset (generating passive income), the longer I can build returns from it. 

I’ve looked at this types of buildings here and buying a REIT has a better yield and is passive.

I have a "regular" job, so I licked my wounds & let these 3 properties gain equity- it was literally money in = money out.  

Very new and looking to gain knowledge, as well.

I recently sold my primary residence in Phoenix, and I am planning on turning that gain into my next real estate investment. 

I have a few CPAs and finance folks that I'm meeting with in the near future but would love to gain more info here if possible.

It will likely be at about a $60,000 gain when finally sold.

I was a high paid profession with some cash and no time so I did passive investing.
