I guess I am curious to see if anyone has encountered an issue like this, and what acceptable compensating factors other people have been willing to take (other than 2x security deposit).

The letter does not state the tenant has encountered a financial loss due to the disability per the physicians letter.

Make sure your return address is on the envelope.What happens is, if there is a forwarding address on file, it will be put onto the envelope with one of those yellow stickers, and it will be sent back to your return address.
