I've had good luck finding Section 8 renters by advertising in the tiny newspaper that comes in the mail every week.

Anyway as for the buildings, I really have no clue whether to go to a real estate agency and advertise the property or whether I should ask around, write newspapers etc.Any thoughts on that?

I read so many articles about how you should be using bandit signs, yellow letters, mailers, NOD lists, News paper ads, recorded messages and so on.

You can also check your local newspaper "Public Notice Section" where they list foreclosure properties, auction dates and things of that nature.

i think a good way to start would be to advertise via newspaper otherwise driving around your city looking for parking space/garages in good areas and ask the owner if he would be interested in selling for insta cash...after you know what parking space and garages are renting for in your area you will know how much you can afford to pay to get cashflowbut i am really not sure how motivated sellers will be to sell in this nichebtw i also see garages from time to time at foreclosures i guess this could also offer good cashflowing options from time to time

I am confident I will close some deals with this type of marketing but I am also going to try placing an ad in my local residential newspaper.
