Correction, I was woken by my 2 small dogs barking at the sound of what I thought was my shower running full-blast.Once my OMG-is-someone-in-my-house-taking-a-shower panic subsided, I walked into the master bathroom to find the water supply hose detached from the toilet and spraying full-blast at the bathroom ceiling and about 2" of water on the bathroom floor.

For single family detached homes, I provide a pest perimeter spray and a  Terro Ant Killer.  

I have a detached garage with a loft that it unused as of now other than for storage (not even vehicles) and a basement that I had been converting into an office/gym space anyway.

It's been a huge motivating factor for me to have overcome this obstacle that has been a part of my life for the past nearly 6 years.

I’ve since mentored others on this “mental obstacle.”  

Has additional auxiliary buildings (detached pole barn, additional garage).

Listening to the paths others followed, their struggles, and how they overcame obstacles was key in helping me get over my mental hurdles.  

Yea, getting that message across to the potential buyers/tenant I believe would be the biggest obstacle... but as long as they believe in you, I believe they'll care about the property..

Investing out of state brings the added obstacle of distance and unfamiliarity into the already complex equation.

And I say all of that with no personal issues with the Hasids but, as it applies to trying to be in the housing game there, you might have some deep-seeded community issues that could derail you, on top of our normal expensive repair obstacles, or deter renters/buyers.Also, lemme know if you have any other questions or are looking for any freelance help.
