Fighting the Multi-Family Investment

I have been investing in single family homes exclusively.  The thought of a multi-family building quite honestly made me nervous.  More tenants, definitely bigger numbers and property managers.  It seems my investment career is evolving as I try to expand in to new strategies.   I can see the benefit of one structure, one investment, one deal and much higher cash flow.  The tenant screening is the same, but the analysis is different.  Looking at Cap Rates, Gross Rental Multiplier among other tools.  I still want $300 minimum per door even though I still see the advantage of a lesser amount.  Have been listening to a multifamily Podcast; Rod Khleif (The Lifetime Cash Flow Through Real Estate Investing) which has helped by learning a multitude of strategies.  I'm starting small looking at 6 flats.  Wish me luck.  Please share your multi-family thoughts.  Thanks.
