In your case, if you like Memphis, I would consider relocating there so that you can actively manage projects in that part of the country.

We have colleagues in other parts of the country that DM works great for--I must have wronged someone in a previous life.

Chris In   reality, no, you can't help or do a rehab from across the country, sight unseen, you need boots on the ground.
