Michael from Germany checking in!
Hello to everyone!
My name is Michael and i'm from Germany. I'm currently taking an 3-year-apprenticeship as a bricklayer and I am planning to become a master craftsman. As you might or might not know bricklaying is one of the most traditional trades here in Germany.
My brother is currently in school for becoming a master craftsman and has 15+ years experience. His girlfriend is currently studying architecture (bachelor's degree).
In the future we are going to invest together and probably start a construction company/architecture firm.
At the moment our plan is to build duplexes, fourplexes and sixplexes beside our full-time-jobs and eventually start investing full time.
As you might can imagine we can put down a serious amount of sweat equity. We basically only need to pay for the property including taxes etc. and the building materials needed, since we can plan and build by ourselves.
What do you think?
