My father worked for the federal government for 40-plus years and, thank God, he has a decent pension, but it’s basically exactly what he needs for living expenses and the modest things he likes to spend money on, like buying books, traveling to visit his grandchildren and buying them presents.

I was originally going to lease this unit as a regular rental but instead I'm now thinking of going the www.airbnb.com or www.vrbo.com route and rent it out for a few days or a week to travelers coming to town.

They paid for my travel, motel, meals, salary and for everyone who knocks on the door for an examination.

I will be traveling to Beijing for the first time on a business trip (and am determined to carve out some leisure as well) later this year - I am very excited to finally see it. 

The Wheel has generated a lot of buzz including being named the Travel and Leisure Magazine's 12th best diner and the owner, Savas Logothetides, is very involved in revitalizing the downtown.

Ultimately, we'd like to retire at a reasonable age, travel, have a legacy that teaches our kids about hard work AND money as well as continue to invest indefinitely. 

Initially we use our money for the travel, ernast money, inspections, loan fees, lawyers fees, and other various upfront fees.
