Hello everyone! I am a newbie to Bigger Pockets and in a sense, a newbie to taking my investing seriously. I have been a casual landlord for 10 years, having rented out an old house of mine and picking up a couple others along the way. We just bought two duplexes in August and are starting to prepare for picking up more multi families. Our goal is to buy a minimum of one new multi every year. Ultimately, we'd like to retire at a reasonable age, travel, have a legacy that teaches our kids about hard work AND money as well as continue to invest indefinitely. So much to learn about financing, taxes, asset protection and entity structure.

I'm so excited to have found this website! I've been lurking for a couple weeks, giving some questionable advice and receiving some excellent advice. Excited to keep learning and growing. I'd love any advice from people who are experienced with finding and funding deals on multi family properties. Thanks to all who have been so welcoming already- see you on the forums!
