That being said, depending on the type of system (forced air vs radiators) it can be a pretty expensive process.  

My experience in real estate is minimal as I have subleased apartments for profit on 4 different occasions through air bnb and craigslist.

@David Zocchi -- I actually looked at a fourplex in this area, so I have a story that will help add some context to the neighborhood...The numbers looked great on paper, and the price was right, so my client was quite excited to go and view the property and make an offer...As soon as we turn the corner into the neighborhood, there was a guy with a couple pitbulls nearby throwing money into the air and rapping into the camera while filming a rap video with his friends.

They like the fact that there are no unexpected big expenses such as a roof or central air or appliances.

that's what I was thinking too I do have rentals but nothing on this scale so I'm trying to collect as much info as possible rumor is the deal is that good but the owner still up in the air on whether or not to sell it enter property does need some work but they don't run it very efficiently either
