Is there a way to screen for this?  

It was just luck that we fell into it & as each exec left we scored the odd Bose system/TV etc that they couldn't take back.

If I felt the applicant had a significant weakness in one of my screening criteria areas, I might ask for a higher security deposit to offset the risk.
