If it's just you, no partners, buying rentals with residential loans and little equity, probably you should concentrate on growing that first and getting some equity before you worry about LLCs, business accounts and asset protection.

When taking back REO's from foreclosure, I'll rehab the property, sell it on owner finance, then bring in an investment partner to cash out the all in costs and split the cashflow and subsequent note resale.

I'll be 60k invested after rehab and can sell the home for around 90k.I would prefer to live in the home and house hack to pay for taxes and insurance.
