Supposed the seller is gonna close on her new house on 7/5 and vacant the property by 7/8 but due to lender was not ready, closing was pushed to 7/9.

@Robert RuschakNot an attorney but I asked mine out of curiosity and “it depends”If for example the price was supposed to be $500k and marketing, advertising and discussions were based on this and the contract accidentally listed $400k, you will most likely not get it for that amount - of course it also depends on the state etc.This is a lot different than you offering $5400k, them accepting the offer then the contract was written at $400k and they come back and are like oops.

Those offers never came, one was supposed to be from an affordable housing nonprofit that had access to 4.5% financing, but they put us on ice for a few months while we waited for their slow board aproval process, and then they had some sort of organizational staffing shakeup and recently told us they couldnt put an offer in.

Yeah at this point I don't think most really care what your preference is as you've lambasted your tenant for wanting to RECEIVE what she paid for, that this was "supposed" to be an ATM for ya and God forbid ya gotta, ya know, do something on your side.
