I’m sure some form of it will pass as well.

They also want to pass a law to throw landlords in jail for I think evicting a tenant when the landlord has some unpaid tax, fee or some such.  

There is a likelihood that the person had an idea that it would NOT pass a VA Loan Appraisal at the amount they were trying to sell it for so you have probably saved yourself some time.   

As an aside, I would also add that my "for rent" signs now say "see Zillow" instead of a phone number because I don't want to deal with a million questions that can be easily addressed by viewing the site.I mean how many of you guys pass a realtor sign and call the realtor?

I dont have time to Judge others, If you pass a Background Check n have decent Credit, I will give you a chance. 

I came across that Larimer County, CO wants folks to register, be inspected, and pass a few different things and items before being "allowed" to rent their property on vacation rental websites (VRBO, AirBNB, etc). 

Most of my properties have been fixer-uppers and I bring them up to a level where they would pass a Section 8 inspection, rent Section 8, and make small upgrades annually. 

All I need to see is the after repair rent to know I would pass as a rental. 

@Everett Morris it is also equally important to align yourself with a realtor that has worked with Veterans and VA loans and knows the property requirements that will pass a VA appraisal :)
