From a people's perspective, I think communication is really key as people coming from another country and/or culture need to have things explained to them clearly and patiently.

I try to be a patient guy but I also try not to be stupid forever if I can help it. :)

I know if you are like me I expect everything now and I believe God doesn't let things happen on my time schedule because I really do need to learn to be patient and trust that if I do things right eventually everything will fall into place.
