I used to teach statistics to MBA students, and I would tell them that five opinions is way too small of a sample size to get anything valuable out of it, so let's make it six opinions: People have been telling me that it was a bad time to get into real estate since I started buying up duplexes in 2013, and that I should wait until the market cooled down before buying.

There are good agents around Chicagoland but Jake and I are both investors ourselves and I have my MBA in Finance.

Reasons for leaving#1 = Opportunity#2 = Job/Career prospects * Unless you are very well connected with a great degree (Doctor/Lawyer/MBA) or have a family business to fall into it's very difficult to get ahead in CA.

My corporate job and MBA gave me a great foundation to build on so if you’re weak in business/finance/accounting, take a class, order a book, etc.
