I am in NC, but what I recommend is reaching out to people whom you are interested in working with directly through BP, Linkedin, and instagram.

For example: Starting a podcast, posting content on Instagram, Linkedin, Biggerpockets, Twitter, Youtube, etc.

A VERY small percentage of accounts make it big on facebook and instagram.

I've personally loved books, YouTubers, and Instagram pages.

Those pictures need to be instagram/pinterest worthy but you can do this on your own.

more velocity of money the faster your wealth can build. try and find a balance of long term buy and holds for passive income down the road but you can also use real estatse as a tool to make more money ie flipping wholesaling or brrr as described above  to make more money to buy more buy and hold. check out@thachnguyen on instagram that guy kills doing that buy haveing very specific criteria to what do do with a property. 

Start reaching out and making some phone calls (If not phone calls since your abroad but it could FB messages, instagram DM's etc) 2.Narrow down what you want to match these criteria.

I would recommend looking up Thach Nguyen on Instagram and following his stuff. 

I keep seeing ads popping up in my Facebook and Instagram telling me that I missed it, and to check my email for a link, which is a little weird I'm not going to lie.

He makes the claim that an investor's money is safe with Cardone Capital several times on his Instagram and that in no way can be guaranteed by a brokerage unless it's explicitly mentioned in the funding contract (don't know the exact term for it), stating something along the lines of "Investor's distributions upon exit will be at their initial contribution (plus inflation?)
