@Don Chambers Dealing with inbound leads requires an almost instant response.

I personally looked on websites specifically for properties being sold in rural areas, like landsoftexas.com, as well as contacted a realtor in the small town we were wanting to be closest to...Anyway, rural land websites and local chambers of commerce would be good starting points...and the properties will sell faster if they have agricultural exemptions on them to lower the tax base...

Don Chambers Fannie Mae is effectively raising the acceptable DTI to 50% as of July 29th, so depending how far off the buyer is, he may be back in the game next month.

Check with the local Chamber of Commerce to get some information on the future of your area and what is planned.
