Other than that, many people have run properties this way and been successful at it.

I almost didn't post because I hate to throw in some negativity, but here is a different perspective.You're also inadvertently leaving out people who CAN'T have those jobs, ie retired people and some people with disabilities. 

Working around people isn't a big deal; most addition and major systems work happens with people still living there.

Thats why people continue scooping up these deals. 

People have posted successful systems, right here on BP.

I look up as much information as I can through search engines but in todays world, a lot of people have more unique jobs and I do not want to call only the numbers the applicant has provided.

Now, not so much...As much as people complain about the cost of renting...they should try being a west coast landlord.

Many people in this country love NOT to pay taxes --- who doesn't.
