If you have a 2 bedroom house and 1 bedroom is 500 sq feet and one bedroom is 100 sq feed there's nothing saying you can't make the 500 sq foot one your office.

Apparently, there was a spring or well feeding water into that basement continuously, and that is a hard problem to solve (not a problem for me to move on to look at another).
