The reasons I decided to go outside of city limits were 1) impact fees are waved 2) the water has already been paid to be installed and that saves me 25 grand out of the gate.

I expect an indoor pool will be worse, because of the factors mentioned above.That said, I think that any pool contractor would jump at the chance for an install this time of year.

For a 1500 sq ft home in my area I would budget about $5k for a new boiler installation (including chimney liner if needed) and then maybe $2k additional to fix/replace any broken heat pipes/baseboard units and to patch any drywall where they needed to open it to repair pipes.
