I'm pretty sure the dollar volume of the grants/scholarships are tied to how well you do in community college, so get a 3.75-4.00 GPA while you're there, and do some extracurriculars (model UN ftw), to maximize your income during the latter two years after you transfer to a 4-year institution. ]]Most of your college peers are going tens and hundreds of thousand dollars into student loan debt, and will graduate with a negative net worth, but you're actually increasing your net worth each and every month you do this.
