These things are:-Lowering rates DRASTICALLY (dates in the near future are less than 50% of our normal rate)-Advertising on Furnished Finder to try to house traveling nurses-Advertising for longer term rentals (1 to 3 Months)-Communicating with landlords about Rent deferment or reduction (How have you attempted to do this?)

I agree with Sean here, we're in a beach vacation market and literally closed on our second unit there on the 30th of March, right in the middle of the state enacting non-resident travel restrictions.

One bright spot in all this is people will still take their vacation in a house when this is over vs travel abroad, cruises, hotels and airlines so that should give drivable destinations a boost this year assuming we get back by end of May.

Unless the tourism numbers are low even under normal circumstances, you shouldn’t need a vaccine or “cure” before folks start traveling regionally again, and for your property to become profitable.
