I've heard about auctions conducted by the US Marshalls and other government departments where property including houses and exotic cars are seized by drug cartels and others and sold to the highest bidder.

Am I wrong in thinking that the worst that can come of this is that once they auction the property I owe the diffrence which I DO plan on being responsible for and paying and I read somewhere that they have to set up ap payment plan with me for what that amount.
