Any addition over 500ft2 in my area triggers the dreaded "site plan review" process aka a ton more hoops to jump through.

Some advice in a nutshell, learn as much as  you can, and then pull the trigger, there will never be a perfect time to make a deal.

If you go this route then you should ensure that you can sell part of the land without triggering a "due on sale” clause from the mortgage.

Saw this property was available, watched it for a while while the price was reduced, and it began to make sense numbers-wise to pull the trigger on it.

I believe with the amount of knowledge at our disposal everyone is ready to move forward with REI at any given time, it becomes a question of will you pull the trigger or not.

Hello everyone, I’m at a crossroads.First off in like to say I’ve listened to almost all of the BiggerPockets podcasts and interviews and have several of their books and guests books. ( just saying so you know I didn’t just show up without any knowledge).I’m at a point where I can almost pull the trigger on my first multifamily property.

I didn't pull the trigger because I wasn't resourceful enough to find the money.

Real estate isn't going anywhere, don't let this type of hype make you pull the trigger on something you're not 100% sure is right for you.Hopefully some of that is helpful.

I just pulled the trigger and bought Buildium.My plan is to add a property a month this year and I can no longer manage it by paper.These are the things I like about it.  

I am hoping to be ready to pull the trigger on a deal later this year (wishful thinking) on a multifamily in Brooklyn New York preferably.
