Additionally, although I am an attorney and practice real estate in Miami, I am not well versed in Cuban real estate law but my understanding is that foreigners are still not allowed to own land.

The pros are:- It lends some credibility (for whatever that is worth)- You do learn what is legal, ethical and accepted practice in the area (but you can depend on an agent partner for that)- Access to MLS, so that you can be the 20th offer and get outbid 99 out of 100 times.

My understanding of the regulation is that if you and your wife are both eligible for the VA Loan, you can actually get a 5 family house instead of just 4.

Kansas requires a Sales Pre-license Course and a Kansas Sales Practice Course.
