Your other option is to find funding, sign contracts, and CLOSE on the deal.

I wouldn't make waves over it, just do what you have to do to not raise red flags. 

Have tried to vary my investments, a couple of funds, a couple direct, and includes multi family, office, industrial, retail, medical office.  

My realtor has been telling me that investors and hedge funds have been drying up the area about 1.5 yrs ago.

We have Investors from out of state that are funding our flip 100%; home purchase & rehab costs.

All it takes is an upset neighbor or tenant to cause huge $ problems.One thing I'd check concerning the ceiling height is if it truly is that height, and that the floor isn't raised or the ceiling dropped.
