Been listening to the podcasts at work for the last couple months and would finally like to start getting involved on the forums.Currently employed as an Acquisitions/Dispositions Analyst for a private equity firm.

Bottom line, if I were to buy this note and wait out the final outcome on the BK process, would I expect to get payments on the note as well as the arrearages?

We got it under contract again about 45 days ago and as of yesterday it finally closed.

@Matthew Smith it is easy to look at tax sale and say "How can I lose" Trust me it is a risky business and you certainly can lose money.You pretty much nailed the number one risk; bidding to much on a property.

Finally a woman answered the phone and told me she couldn't find anybody that knew, and I should call back another day.

I finally found one but, they require the contract to be in an LLC, mine is in my own name.  

Nail it, then scale it.  

We've been trying to get the final tally so we can file a judgement and have the security deposit transferred to us.
