For me, it added an extra level of security/ protection above the regular homeowners policy (injury, property damage etc).

My condo/rental association is claiming damages for move out.

This was 2 blocks from the largest hospital in the State and 6 blocks from the largest University in the State.

Though I don't anticipate needing keys and won't experience any damages ahead of this date, I'm uncomfortable with owning an asset that I cannot access in the event of emergency.

Would you guys invest in a turn key ready big housewith all the furniture in Kissimmee, FL near Disney or a smaller house a block from the beach in Panama City Beach.

And I will return their security deposit after I assess for any damages after they are out.

My own sister didn't heed our advice and when her split happened, it was brutally ugly and her credit was significantly damaged:( Took a lot of effort not to rub her face in an, "I told you so", when she came to us for advice AFTER not taking it to begin with.

Slightly nervous that they might get angry due to a $200 rent increase and potentially damage the unit.What are your thoughts?
