The traffic is less than LA, the airports are close, the beaches are incredible, and the people are very nice! 

Good thing you've got beautiful beaches, beautiful women, and beautiful weather to cheer you up over there haha. 

Oxnard is a great place to be as it's close to Ventura, Thousand Oaks, Malibu, beautiful beaches and some great state parks.There are definitely a few differences between Oxnard and Camarillo from a housing expense perspective as Oxnard is about 15-20% less than Camarillo.

The foreclosure property located in Old Orchard Beach, Maine was a small 850 sf single family home that was destroyed.

I have also known people to turn beachfront (Long Beach area) properties into seasonal and long-term rentals and have been generally happy with their investments.Hopefully, this was helpful.

Though, my guess is that the areas of concentration for millennial movers are Riverside, Murray Hill, the Beaches, etc.
