Being a former (recovering) appraiser myself, I always found it challenging to find a "mentor" willing to take you under his or her wing...

Right now I am getting as much education as I can as I have goals of investing in real estate and flipping houses.Looking for mentor in the Santa Fe area.

Kids may be a few years away too, but we want to set up a strong foundation before we get "caught up in life".I am happy to be part of this community because when I first started my business I didn't have any mentors, just a tireless work ethic and a huge desire to NOT fail (and prove to my Filipino parents I wasn't crazy leaving my stable day job).

There also may be some other investors in your area willing to mentor you.

In DFW, you have at least 2 great places to learn about MF and get mentoring support - Lifestyles Unlimited and Brad Sumrok.    

Business relationships, co-producers of materials or co-speakers at a seminar, someone who endorses the method or program, coaches, "mentors" have acted in some area to be tagged as associates.

Eager to start with a mentor in REI

yea problem is I am inexperienced with this stuff and don't know where to look for the right project I have all the prices to the puzzle except the brains I guess I gotta stay on here and gain more knowledge to be able to be succeful on my own if not need a good mentor/ partner willing to make some cash.

I don't know that's it's fair to classify all gurus/mentors/coaches as opportunistic sociopaths. 

So I'm was wondering if anyone in North Carolina can become our mentor and help us we would be grateful.
