These assets include, student housing, senior housing, work force housing and manufactured home communities.

In Michigan you can generally tell the difference between a manufactured and mobile based on if it has a crawl space or basement. 

The problem is the manufacturers do not help the client go through the permitting process for their jurisdiction (you need permitting to get the utilities run to the tiny home site and to get the occupancy permit).

Also I have never purchased mobile/manufactured homes therefore need advice.

There's plenty of other industry going on here, especially in medical and technology, and still to a solid degree manufacturing.

One thing to note, it is good to have at least 30% manufactured equity along with the project costs when dealing with multifamily properties.

I received the seller's disclosure on a remodeled home that I was about to buy, and it had a "yes" checked to "Previous Use of Premises for Manufacture of Methamphetamine" - the disclosure also says to explain further - but there was no mention of anything further on this topic (aside from a note about the roof).I asked my real estate agent about this, and she said she had not realized that had a yes for meth house and was going to investigate with the seller.  

Not a terribly interesting property (manufactured with perm foundation on a lot) but I thought the education would be valuable.I'll drop a line another time I'm in the area.
