If I have acquired a property via quit claim deed from an owner whose delinquent taxes were sold at county auction (after the auction but before the 12 month redemption period expires) is it possible to apply for the county to return to me any excess funds that were paid by the tax lien purchaser?

After replacing the pipes and trying to dry the entire basement, mold started to appear there.

If it was cut and dry we would all be doing the same thing. 

A majority of the excess cash from the cash out is tied up in another BRRRR project we are working on now.Based on the increased property values and NOI we believe the house should sell for around $165k.Our thought is to sell the house with seller financing with a 15-20%, down payment (more than enough to get us into this new opportunity), 8-10% on the remaining loan with a 5 year balloon.

Just make sure your room rent rate is not excessive compared to other rooms available on the market.

No deal is better than a bad one... be patient and things will work themselves out (excess cash is NOT a bad thing) =)

I would also guess that your previous clients will soon become referrals, and that your 2021 total should be well in excess of what you did in 2020.Why take on the risk of switching brokerages when you have a good thing going?

@Aurora Martinez right, I just mean you should probably found out how much you’re allowed to compound them before it becomes excessive

I had a serious water repair completed about 1.5 yes ago and they too the walls of where there was damage and had humidifiers placed in the unit for several days to dry out the support beams.

But she was a terrible tenant otherwise and was already under a Cure or Quit notice for constant, excessive noise.
