What I've been referring to is actually an "enhanced" owners policy (see First American's Eagle product) which is significantly more comprehensive than extended and only available to residential homeowners (at least where we do business).Extended coverage is simply an alta owners policy with the 5 standard exceptions removed (after meeting the criteria -- affidavits, survey, additional premium, etc. -- for removal).Sounds like you figured a out a plan that works for you.
